Here’s The Top 10 Travel Experiences According To Frequent Jetsetters

When it comes to travel advice, it’s nice to “keep it in the family”, as they say – asking your friends for recommendations can often be the best way to find hidden swimming holes or underground bars in foreign cities. So when the travel gurus over at Conde Nast Traveller decided to poll their in-the-know readers for their annual Readers’ Travel Awards, we were all ears.

This year they asked their globetrotting fans to choose what they consider the very best that travel has to offer – anything from hotels and spas to airports. The results, which they’ve compiled into an extensive Top 100 List, range from luxe Parisian suites to sky high infinity pools and even a few local Aussie destinations – score!

Overall marks were given for service, design and value for money – CN collated each entry and calculated the average mark on each of the criteria, then used this to rank your favourites. The results were very close, with the top four destinations each receiving a near perfect score of 93. The overall winner though? Morocco’s La Mamounia took out the top prize with a score of 93.76 out of 100, and boy is it pretty.
