You Can Paddle Pedal Boats Around Sydney Harbour This Summer

Peddle boats, Darling Harbour

With plenty of summer still to come, a fun new way to while away the long, steamy days has popped up on Sydney Harbour, and there’s no superyacht necessary.

Old-school pedal boats are available for hire at Cockle Bay Marina in Darling Harbour until January 29, and it looks like a pretty fun way to spend an afternoon on the water.

While you’re in the area, try creating your own frozen fish at the Sydney Festival’s Four Thousand Fish installation at Barangaroo Reserve or find a spot for the Ferrython on January 26. Alternatively, the beautiful Chinese Garden of Friendship is a fantastic place to rest sea-weary legs (admission costs $6), or take the ride to dry land on the carousel at Palm Grove.

Boats cost $30 for 30 minutes of pedal time, and are available between 11am and 7pm daily. Book one here.
