The newest attraction in Canada‘s incredibly popular winter destination of Whistler, British Columbia, is the Cloudraker Skybridge.

It’s a suspension bridge – yes, one of those ones that can sway in the wind and wobble when you jump – is 2000 metres high and connects Whistler Peak to the lookout platform at West Ridge.

It’s not for the faint of heart, but you can get an extraordinary view of the surrounding mountains and landscape from the bridge, accessed as part of the Peak 2 Peak 360 Summer Experience ticket, which also includes open-air chairlifts and gondolas; access to the Alpine Theatre; hiking, running and walking trails; and add-on restaurants and dining experiences.

The bridge is now accessible all year-round, offering a different experience for those done with snow sports for the day.

Make sure to pack extra layers for the walk along the Cloudraker Skybridge – it’s typically a few degrees colder than down in Whistler Village, and the wind can be worse, too. The bridge is open 10am to 4pm (5.30pm Friday to Sunday) during the summer months, so make the most of the incredible views!
