The pricing calendar shows the best time to stay in destinations around the world if you’re looking to get the best value for your money (who isn’t?). The website considered the yearly overview of pricing fluctuations in a bid to outline the best time to stay head off to your chosen destinations. Consider it your frugal travel inspo for 2018.
January: Copenhagen, Denmark
Tours to Copenhagen in January can save you up to 41 per cent of what you’d spend later in the year.
February: Buenos Aires, Argentina
Trips to Buenos Aires are said to be at their lowest in February, and can save you up to 16 per cent on what you’d pay in other months.
March: Kuta, Indonesia
Keen on Kuta? You might want to plan to visit in March, when tours are 33 per cent cheaper than those in peak season.
April: Zürich, Switzerland
In April, tours to the city of Zürich can cost 15 per cent less than in the most expensive month of the year.
May: Melbourne, Australia
Up for café hopping in the world’s most liveable city? It’s best to visit in May, when you can save up to 22 per cent.
June: Chiang Mai, Thailand
Chiang Mai in June can be up to 26 per cent cheaper than in the most expensive months of the year.
July: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Tours to Abu Dhabi in July could save you around 46 per cent on what you’d pay in other months.
August: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
You could save up to 40 per cent on tours to Rio in August.
September: Mexico City, Mexico
Those keen to visit Mexico‘s capital should schedule a trip for September. Tours in September are about 46 per cent cheaper than at any other time of the year.
October: Auckland, New Zealand
Save 16 per cent on tours to Auckland by visiting the city in October.
November: Athens, Greece
December: Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Tours to Amsterdam cost up to 35 per cent less in December compared with any other time of the year.
