Oh My Glob, A Cartoon Network Theme Park Is Coming To Bali
ATTN: Adventure Time, The Powerpuff Girls, Scooby Doo and Johnny Bravo fans, prepare yourself for the ultimate nostalgic experience. A Cartoon Network-branded theme park is coming to Bali and our little hearts can barely take it!
Yep, all of your favourite childhood shows are about to be immortalised in the greatest possible way, by being made into a theme park.
The ten-acre park is said to have water rides, wave pools, an entertainment centre, and heaps more. It’s set to be the biggest water park on the island, according to Turner Asia Pacific, the team partnering with the MAJ Group to develop the theme park.
It will be the very first park in Indonesia to partner with an international brand, and is a first for Cartoon Network too, offering both indoor and outdoor attractions.
So what else can we expect from a Cartoon Network theme park? Well, apart from tonnes of themed rides, there’ll also be live performances featuring all of your favourite characters.
“Turner and The MAJ Group share the same vision of creating the ultimate family destination in Indonesia, and the entertainment park will combine world-class design with unparalleled Balinese hospitality,” President of Turner Asia Pacific, Ricky Ow, said in a statement. “Above all, it will offer guests genuine fun powered by Cartoon Network, Asia’s leading kids entertainment brand.”
The park is set to open in 2020. See you then, Bali!
