Bob Irwin Is Actually An Incredible Wildlife Photographer

You probably know Robert Irwin as son of wildlife warriors Steve and Terri Irwin, and brother of Bindi, but you may not know that he has a pretty impressive hobby.

Aside from regular gigs at Australia Zoo and racking up Logie nominations, Bob has made a name for himself as a talented wildlife photographer.

It’s no secret that the 14-year-old is fascinated by the natural environment – like father, like son – and his obsession has led to something truly beautiful.

Today, Bob captures some of the animal kingdom’s most intimate moments while he and his family travel the world, sharing his work with his impressive Instagram following with his family’s trademark enthusiasm.

Recently, on the 10-year anniversary of his father’s death, Robert was runner-up in the Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year junior award for this crocodile photo.

If you’d like to see more of Bob’s work, be sure to follow him on Instagram or check out his work at Australia Zoo’s on-site gallery.
