Could You Finish Sydney’s 4kg Nutella Doughnut Ball?

In the wise words of Homer Simpson: “Doughnuts — is there anything they can’t do?” I strongly suspect they truly are capable of everything. So I wonder what kind of magic the largest doughnut in Sydney could bring with it?

Weighing in at a whopping 4kg, the Giant Tella Ball might prove to be the best doughnut in Sydney. But it’s not just the sheer size that’s got us slipping into an early food coma. This bad boy is dusted in cinnamon sugar and topped with Oreos, Kinder Beuno and Ferrero Rocher. And it’s absolutely oozing with Nutella.

The delicious monster is the creation of Sydney’s haven of Nutella desserts, Tella Balls Dessert Bar, whose aim is to “satisfy your wildest dessert desires and keep you coming back for more”. We can all agree that a massive Nutella doughnut ball is definitely among our top ten wildest dessert desires.

The dessert legends advise that no less than three people should attempt the Giant Tella Ball, and it can feed up to ten hungry friends. It’ll set you back $120, but that’s a small price to pay (split between your mates of course) for what might be the best doughnut in Sydney. Just make sure you order it at least three days in advance, because good doughnuts take time.

The Giant Tella Ball is available at all nine of the dessert bar’s locations around Sydney and NSW (Dulwich Hill, Top Ryde, Castle Towers, Concord, Wetherill Park, Jamisontown, Liverpool, Maitland and Ramsgate). Or if you’d prefer to conquer this dessert in the privacy of your own home, you can also order it as a takeaway option.

Sydney’s doughnut game has been strong lately, with Demochi Donut figuring out a way to fuse a doughnut with mochi. If you want to take your doughnut appreciation global, we’ve got the ultimate doughnut-crawl itinerary through Chicago.
