8 Suburbs Where You Can Bask In The Glow Of Sydney’s Best Christmas Light Displays

Look, we know that a white Christmas is super duper magical and we’re almost never likely to experience that while living in Australia. You don’t need cold weather for Christmas lights to deliver glittering joy to your eyeballs, though.

At a time when local travel is front of mind, jumping in the car for a cheeky Yuletide adventure is an excellent December activity.

Chrissie lights are something Aussies look forward to each year, so you want to get it right. You can use websites like Christmas Light Search, a completely free online directory that helps you find Christmas lights in any local community, so you can create your own lights trail.

Here are the best neighborhood Christmas light displays, because 2020 can’t ruin everything.

Please note that due to COVID-19, many beloved displays have been cancelled this year (like the famous Malle Street display in Quakers Hill) to comply with restrictions. And while community transmission is low, it’s important to observe social distancing.
