Huzzah! The World’s First Beer Hotel Is Finally Opened For Business
If you love crack open a cold one, knock the froth off a few and bend the elbow at any occasion deemed appropriate and are ready to take your beer obsession to the next level, listen up! We’ve just found your dream stay.
This story starts back in March of 2017, when Scottish beer company BrewDog launched a campaign for the world’s first crowdfunded craft beer hotel. It would be kitted out with everything a larger lover could ever want, including in-room taps, fully-stocked minifridges in the shower, and a spa that uses beer-infused products.
Now, almost 18 months later, and the 32-room hotel is open for business, and they’ve come good on all of their promises, minus the spa.
It’s a fully immersive experience. On arrival, guests will have the chance to play a few friendly rounds of beer pong in the lobby or check out what’s being called an “interactive” beer museum.
Rates start at US$160 (AU$220) per night and you can book your stay via the hotel’s website.
