Australia Is Getting Its First Festival On A Cruise Ship

Another floating festival has been added to the flock, and this time it’s sailing the seas that “girt” our homeland. Sea ‘N Beats, Australia’s very first music festival at sea, is taking place next year off the coast of Queensland.

On Saturday March 5 2016, the Sea ‘N Beats cruise liner will set sail from Brisbane to a mystery island off Queensland’s coast, then returning back to its original port. The trip promises four days and three nights of epic parties and non-stop music from “the hottest names in electronic and dance music from all over Australia” with the line-up dropping mid-March. There’ll be a day party festival on the mystery island and seven stages aboard the ship itself.

This notion of a dance festival on a cruise ship has had wild success overseas with the likes of Miami’s Holy Ship and Groove Cruise and Asia’s It’s The Ship successfully hosting sailing soirees over the years.

Four person cabins on Sea ‘N Beats start at $960 per person, and you can sign up to their mailing list at their official website.
