We Schnitz You Not, There’s Gonna Be All-You-Can-Eat Schnitzels In Australia This Weekend

What have you got planned for this weekend? Cancel it, because Munich Brauhaus and The Bavarian in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane are doing all-you-can-eat schnitzel this Saturday and Sunday.

Select restaurants in each city are getting in on the action, serving up bottomless platters of as many schnitzels as you can stuff your face with in a two-hour sitting.

There are three schnitty options going — the classic jager schnitzel covered in mushroom ragù, a chicken parmigiana stacked with mozzarella, double smoked ham and red sauce, and the signature Uber schnitzel topped with rocket, semi-dried tomato and parmesan.

You’ll also get bottomless mashed potato and potato salad, and the best part: a two-hour session of all-you-can-eat food will only cost $39.

The restaurants’ famous German beers aren’t included in the feast, but it’s definitely worth bringing some extra cash to order yourself a literal boot of beer or cider. A one-litre glass boot starts at $25, or you can be even more extra and order a 2-litre tube of your choice of beer or cider.

Each platter of schnitzel serves two to three people, so gather up at least one other friend who’s keen to put away an ungodly amount of fried chicken and book a session on The Bavarian’s website.

The only places where the all-you-can-eat deal isn’t available is The Bavarian restaurants in Sydney’s Entertainment Quarter and Macarthur, as well as The Bavarian in Mackay, Queensland.

If you’re after more winter warming foodie options, Sydney’s getting a Tokyo-inspired alley dedicated to ramen and whisky in July.
