All-You-Can-Eat Fried Chicken Is Going For $30 At Johnny Bird In Sydney

Any time you hear the words “all-you-can-eat”, you know you’re in for a good time. All-you-can-eat gnocchi? Great, I can’t wait to fill my body with as many pillowy clouds of carbs as humanly possible. All-you-can-eat fried chicken? Give me, and I cannot stress this enough, all the crispy, golden nuggets you have.

Sydney’s very own Johnny Bird knows the deal, because the restaurant holds all-you-can-eat fried chicken nights for $30 every goddamn blessed month.

The gift from the heavens will take place on the last Saturday of the month for the rest of the year — that’s November 30 and December 28, put it in your calendar. From 5pm, you’ll get unlimited tenders, fries and mash with gravy.

You’ll also get free rein on three finger-licking dipping sauces, including chipotle mayo, smoky BBQ and hot sauce.

To sweeten the deal even more, Johnny Bird also offers cans of beer for $6 on these nights. The tinnies on offer change monthly, but $6 will get you a half pint of Young Henry’s beer month-round. You don’t have to be a fine dining connoisseur to know that beer and chicken is a match made in foodie heaven.

If you miss out, Johnny Bird’s menu makes a trip to the Crows Nest restaurant worthwhile any other day of the month. While the all-you-can-eat nights stick to tenders, you can also order wings and thighs off the menu, plus whole BBQ chickens, burgers and even mac and cheese.

If that still isn’t enough fried chicken for you, the world’s first high-tech, drive-through-only KFC is opening in Newcastle this month. Finally, we’ll be able to pre-order our popcorn chicken without talking to another human being. The future is now, and it’s delicious.

Bookings are essential for Johnny Bird’s all-you-can-eat nights, which you can do on the restaurant’s website and their Facebook page.
