Aldi Is Now Slinging Wearable Sleeping Bags And I Need 10

If Aldi didn’t have their Special Buys I think I’d be about 80 percent less equipped for life. To be honest, I’d be 100 percent less equipped for camping — as someone who enjoys it but isn’t enthusiastic enough to spend all my money on gearing up. So hands in the air for the next camping-themed Special Buys.

The new range — on sale Saturday, March 20 (yep, just in time for your Easter long weekends) — includes gear for first-time campers, people who prefer to glamp it up, and experienced explorers wanting to update their gear.

The most exciting item, in my opinion, is the return of the popular onezee sleeping bag. For $49.99, you can wear your sleeping bag like a jumpsuit in weather down to 4 degrees celsius, in purple, yellow, pink, and black. It fits people from  5.1ft to 6.8ft, with an elastic waistband, dual zipper access, removable feet, and side ventilation on the legs.

Other big savings can be found in the $599 65 litre portable fridge/freezer with a Wi-Fi app to control it, a digital control panel, and a heavy-duty insulated travel bag.

There’s also the four or six-person instant set-up tent ($129 and $149 respectively) which pops up in three steps. There’ll be other tent accessories too, like tarps, pegs, and ropes between $9.99 and $29.99.

A bunch of other gadgets that’ll take the comfort levels of your next camping trip up a notch, like a tent fan ($14.99), canvas storage bags ($19.99), and Byron Bay camp chairs ($29.99).

Expert campers can upgrade their serious camping gear with a range of tools and equipment in the sale, like a 4-Stroke Inverter Generator ($399), powered battery box ($49.99), and a 00AH Deep Cycle Battery ($199).

Jump over onto the website to see the full range and check if your local Aldi has the gear you’re after (because no one wants to lie up at 8 am on a Saturday for nothing.
