Aldi Is Bringing Back It’s Range Of Alcoholic Advent Calendars, So Now I’m In The Chrissy Spirit

In honestly, the best news of 2020 (which I’ll admit isn’t hard to top, but still) everyone’s favourite German grocery chain is bringing back their alcoholic advent calendars.

Talk about your holy spirits.

Let’s be real, we’ve never needed a drink a day more than this year, so Aldi is doing us a real solid with its range of beer and gin advent calendars.

“The countdown to Christmas is on and to help customers celebrate the festivities, Aldi is toasting the season with the return of our grown-up advent calendars, crackers and liquor gift packs – perfect as a gift for someone special, or as a gift for yourself,” Aldi Australia spokesperson, Nicole Higgins, said.

There are two beer options, for either the craft lover or basic beer drinker. The first is ‘12 Days of Craftmas‘ (yes, only a 12-day count down) for $39.99, featuring the likes of James Squire, Hawkesbury, Cricketers, West City, Mountain Goat and Grand Ridge.

The other is a standard Aldi Christmas Beer Advent Calendar with a 24-pack of beers like Peroni, Two Suns, Amstel, Stella and Pilsner Urquell (delish) for $64.99.

Not a beer fan? No worries, Aldi has a couple of gin options for you too.

There’s a 12-pack gin collection with 50ml bottles from several different distillers for $59.99 and a 12-pack gin liqueur option — for those who like a little pre-mix — for $49.99.

“This year, there is something for everyone, with returning cult favourites like our Hoppy Christmas Beer Advent Calendar and gin gift packs, as well as some new surprises for whisky fans,” continued Higgins.

“Aldi’s liquor range is famed for offering exceptional quality products from premium beer, wine and spirits producers in both Australia and around the world”.

They all go on sale Wednesday, November 11 until stock last — which let’s be honest, won’t be very long at all.

Ps, if you’d rather wine, then this advent calendar is for you.
