Adele Confirms She Is Just Like Every Brit In Aus, Goes To Ramsay St
In what is possibly the most “Celebs, they’re just like us!” tourist moment of all time, super famous pop star Adele has carved out time in her hectic Australian tour schedule to visit the famous fictional Australian suburb of Erinsborough.
Just like every Brit in Australia who has come before her, Adele made visiting the iconic cul-de-sac a priority. She posted a photo of her posing outside Carl and Susan’s house yesterday. Let’s hope they at least invited her in for a lemon crisp biscuit and a cup of tea.
There are regular tours from the Melbourne CBD that travel to the Neighbours set in a suburb actually named Vermont South. Neighbours has been a super popular addition to British television since the ’80s, thus attracting a whole bunch of British tourists to Ramsay Street every year. Now all Adele has to do is grab a scooner at Beach Road, Bondi to complete the ‘Brit In Australia’ stereotype.
