It’s the time to get up and out and do something – more than just eating chocolate (even if that’s in gelato or cocktail form). We know it’s getting cold, but that’s no excuse to rug up indoors just yet. At least not for the whole weekend. Take some time to get out and about, with some of these best picks around the city this Easter long weekend.

The Ground have really thrown it all in recently with themed pop-ups, and what better excuse to do so than a holiday dedicated to dessert? This special Easter-themed pop-up will have a colourful Rainbow Dessert Lane added to The Grounds of Alexandria, with desserts including doughnuts, churros, lemon beignets and gelato sandwiches on offer.

Check in on Easter Saturday (April 21) at 3pm for the annual “Community Giant Easter Egg Cracking”, where an enormous (we’re serious, you need to see it to believe it) egg cracked and shared around.
