The 7 Best Things To Do In Perth This October

Once dubbed Australia’s “sleepy city”, Perth was known for little more than its slow pace, immaculate beaches and sunny weather. Nowadays, an abundance of events to keep you entertained each month, from comedy festivals to car park parties, pop up cinemas to folk festivals.

These are some of the best events and festivals happening around Perth in October. [listicle]

Entwined In The Valley

Entwined in The Valley

Entwined in The Valley is Perth’s answer to Margaret River’s famed Gourmet Escape. The event showcases everything that the Swan Valley food and wine region has to offer, over a weekend full of workshops, dinners and everything in between.

Whether your perfect day in the valley includes wine tasting, browsing art exhibitions or kicking back to some live music, Entwined in The Valley has something for you. For $50.00, you can pick up a complimentary picnic basket and spend the Saturday foraging for your picnic from producers around the valley before settling down to a surprise performance beneath the vines (and stars) at Taylor Private Estate.

Or head to Entopia Wines at any time over the weekend for some free wine tasting and art browsing.
