You Can Stay Inside A Pineapple In The Caribbean
Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?! You could.
Well not quite under the sea but in a pineapple, sure. In a move that will spark joy in the hearts of children and fear in the eyes of their parents, you can now stay at a SpongeBob SquarePants-themed villa at Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
The luxury accommodation is definitely aimed at kids, or maybe those nostalgic for their youth, however there are a bunch of adult fittings including an infinity pool, and a 24-hour butler.
Pineapple living doesn’t come cheap though; a night will set you back over $5000AUD for up to four adults and two kids, or two adults and six children.
The real question, though, is if Nickelodeon have hotels and resorts all over the world, what other nostalgic digs can we unearth for our next vacation? A trip visit Helga and the gang at ‘Hey Arnold!’? Or how about a jaunt to the ‘Rugrats’ house? We’d be super down for a ‘Rocko’s Modern Life’-themed resort Down Under.
