This Spa Is Actually Insane

We all love a good spa, right? That’s a given – it’s pretty impossible to dislike swanning around in a Jacuzzi or dozing off while a kind stranger massages out all your stress. At Hotel Boscolo in fancy-schmancy Milan, however, they take the spa concept to a whole new level. It’s like 2001: A Spa Odyssey, basically. At 600m², it’s the largest spa in Milan – and the only one open until midnight, for all your post-fashionista spa needs.

As you may indeed have noticed, it’s pretty spectacular. The bubbles on the wall are kaleidoscopic spheres, which reflect the colours from the lights and the swimming pool and optimise the “optical aperture”. DUH! As well as the impressive mirrored walls, the spa boasts a huge 15-metre screen with relaxing images and sounds, a waterfall, sauna, Turkish bath, reaction tub and six different treatment rooms for all the facials, massages and wellbeing treatments you can dream of.

Entry to the spa is free for hotel guests, or you can pay to pop in for a sneaky massage – but for the ultimate indulgence, Boscolo offer a two-night wellbeing package. You get a double room in the hotel, buffet breakfast both mornings (is breakfast pizza a thing yet, Italy?), fruits and candles in your room for maximum #wellness and #cleaneating, a day at the spa for relaxing and energising as well as late checkout for when you inevitably fall asleep during your massage. What a DREAM.
