Spend Winter In New York In At This Rooftop Igloo Bar

I don’t know about you but I’ve been dreaming of a White Christmas in New York City ever since I saw the seminal holiday classic, Home Alone 2: Lost In New York. And while winter in New York really is a sight to see, it’s best seen from above.

Enter 230 Fifth‘s rooftop igloo pop up.

See-through PVC igloos have been installed on 230 Fifth fabulous Manhattan rooftop as a respite from the city’s famous winter chill. Each igloo can fit up to eight people and is purposely built to keep out wind, rain and snow while keeping you warm on the inside.

Inside each igloo you’ll find sofas, lamps, rugs, TVs and even fluffy robes to keep you cosy. Enjoy the 360 degree skyline views while sipping on seasonal drinks like spiced whiskey martinis and rum-spiked hot apple cider. Mmmm.

The igloos will be inflated all throughout winter until March. Also, 230 Fifth doesn’t accept reservations for the tents, so it’s first-come-first-serve – better scurry!
