Asia’s Best Bar Is Popping Up In Sydney & Melbourne

Ask anyone who has been to famed Singaporean cocktail bar 28 Hongkong Street, and you’re bound to unleash a story or two.

It’s not often you get to re-live one of the best parts of your vacation in your native city, but the speakeasy-style bar – which topped Drinks International‘s list of Asia’s 50 Best Bars earlier this yea – is visiting Melbourne and Sydney so Australians can partake in some of the famed drinks and eats (including their mac’n’cheese balls).

You can expect to try some of 28HK’s stalwarts such as the ‘Golden Fizz’, a solid concoction of old tom gin, lemon, orange flower water, egg yolk, soda, and orange zest, or perhaps ‘Hemingway’s Friend’ made up of Wrey & Nephew overproof rum, lemon, maraschino, and grapefruit bitters.
